In Sociedad Portuaria Puerto Nuevo S.A., we support the social and economic development of the Caribbean and Colombia through the provision of public port services for the coal export. We are aware that compliance with legal and client requirements, provision of necessary resources, commitment to our staff and the environment, are the basis for the continuous improvement of our processes, and in this sense we commit to:

  1. Provide port services established in commercial agreements, which meet the requirements of our customers.
  2. Develop our operations with efficiency and effectiveness, in a work environment free of fatalities, injuries and occupational diseases [2], being responsible with the environment and maintaining our commitment to sustainable development in our influence area[4].
  3. Ensure compliance with the rules in order to contribute to business continuity and prevention of illicit activities3.
  4. Create value to shareholders by optimising reliability, eliminating losses, and maximising asset life and utilisation in a safe, cost effective manner.
  5. Promote a culture of improvement for all staff and in all Company processes.
